Bittu Bajrangi, a Bajrang Dal member, previously on bail for a provocative video ahead of a communal clash, was re-arrested by Nuh police for rioting and carrying arms during the violence. His arrest was conducted by a plainclothes team. ASP Usha Kundu's complaint spurred police action. CCTV footage depicted armed men, seemingly police, approaching a house. Bittu and supporters, carrying weapons, confronted police at a temple during a religious procession, turning aggressive and assaulting officers before escaping in a police vehicle. Booked under various IPC sections and the Arms Act, Bittu's actions incited communal violence. His earlier arrest for a video referencing cow vigilante Monu Manesar also fueled tensions surrounding the procession. Monu remains an accused in a double murder case.
