Let's Talk Bike Fit Quick Tip And Commute

Описание к видео Let's Talk Bike Fit Quick Tip And Commute

Let's talk bike fit for minute!

Here's a tip,

1. measure your wingspan from finger tip to finger tip.

2. measure your pants inseam

3a. If, your wingspan is less than 98% of your height (shorter reach), choose the smaller bike

3b. If, your wingspan is more than 98% of your height (longer reach), choose the larger bike

3c. If, your wingspan is nearly equal to your height, choose the smaller bike and get a longer bike stem to lean down more when riding

3d. If, your wingspan is nearly equal to your height, choose the larger bike and get a shorter bike stem to sit up more when riding

DROP and REACH = relative distance between saddle to handlebars

Adjust the saddle height DROP (seatpost up and down) with the seatpost clamp, and get a longer seatpost to sit higher if needed.

Adjust the saddle REACH (saddle forward or back) with the saddle clamp.

Adjust the saddle angle (slope downward or upward) with the saddle clamp and turning it, but I recommend keeping it parallel with the ground.

Adjust the handlebar DROP with headset spacers by moving the handlebar stem up or down the fork. Adjustment is limited by fork steerer tube length though!

Adjust the handlebar REACH/DROP by swapping the handlebar stem for more/less length and more/less angle.

Hope that helps! But above all else, test ride the bike first.

Pro Tip: Sometimes you can just flip the handlebar stem to change between, a high and relaxed riding position, and a low and aggressive riding position.
