Clearly, the conduit that got run right in front of the dryer vent was a bad idea, keeping the flaps from opening properly and leading to more lint buildup. The duct line was about 30 feet long though, so buildup was inevitable anyway. Still never a good idea to place an obstruction in front of a dryer vent!
