An impressive day spent at one of my favorite airports here tonight, 40 minutes of spotting from the unique south side location. Much has changed since my last visit here, way less Jet2 757s among the main change and some aircraft changes. Highlights for me where the Virgin Atlantic "Falcon" B747, 2 Etihad B787-10s, Cathay's A350-1000, among much more. A soaked RWY made for some lovely spray shots from some of the heavies, notably Virgin B747 & Emirates A380s. This combined with some glorious winter sunshine and great company. What a way to end of a great year of spotting.
