‘Riverdale’ stars nominate cast's class clown, best dressed and teacher's pet

Getting the entire cast together at Comic-Con was much like a class reunion for the stars of The CW's teen drama "Riverdale."
And, as actors Skeet Ulrich and Madchen Amick explained, their Hollywood class comes complete with their very own yearbook superlatives.
"Class clown?" pondered Amick before nominating Cole Sprouse, who plays emo bad boy Jughead Jones.
Ulrich voted co-star Casey Cott as the funniest of the bunch.
"That's true! ... He's wearing high white socks today. So he gets it!" added Amick of Cott.
Speaking of fashion, Amick nominated Camila Mendes as the cast's best dressed.
"Cami always has this cool little edge that I like," Amick said.
Ulrich added: "Yeah, Lili (Reinhart) looks beautiful today, too."
"Riverdale" is based on the characters of Archie Comics, living in a small town called Riverdale, which is often dark and gritty beneath its perfect image.
Reinhart stars as girl-next-door Betty Cooper and Mendes plays her best friend Veronica Lodge.
Amick's first pick for the title of teacher's pet was Madelaine Petsch, who plays high-maintenance troublemaker Cheryl Blossom. But the pair settled on actor KJ Apa, who plays loveable Archie Andrews.
"I think KJ (Apa) would kind of be the teacher's pet, yeah," said Ulrich. "He is petable."
"Oh that's true! That's true. Good boy," agreed Amick.
Ulrich gave the final title, valediction, to Amick, his onscreen on-again, off-again love.  
"Why, thank you! I think I had it back in the day and Alice (Cooper) still carries that to date," said Amick.
"She'll wear any crown she can get a hold of," Ulrich joked of Amick's character Alice Cooper.
"Riverdale" returns to The CW in October.
