It's that time of year when the Bengals have to cut their squad down to just 53 men.

And all of that is in the context of the Bengals' 21-19 loss to the Commanders in Washington in their final pre-season game, to give the side a 0-1-2 record in the build-up to the new campaign.

Despite that defeat, wide receiver Andre Iosivas and running back Chase Brown shone brightly with some good highlights.

The back-ups QBs continue to struggle in Joe Burrow's absence and the tight end position, behind Irv Smith Jnr, looks equally barren. Tanner Hudson is making a play for tight end 2 as he reminds Ace of a Bengals' 'Gronk'.

Kicker Evan McPherson nailed a massive field goal in Washington and looks like he is back to his 'Money Mac' best.

With the Bengals finishing their pre-season winless, should fans be worried? Ace has some very strong views on this.
