Travis is a great singer-songwriter, guitarist and he started writing with Miranda Lambert very early on. They have had lots of charting singles, and very recently had a number one single on country radio "Heart like Mine."

The song he brought me was cut in Nashville, and done very quickly and very well by the musicians who performed it however, he wanted a new approach on the guitars, so we started over from scratch and used none of the existing guitars.

My approach was to do one guitarist on the left speaker, and be another guitarist on the right speaker and then add some minimal overdubs in the chorus and elsewhere.
