In continuation of part 1 of the Beginner's Guide for JMRI and LocoNet, in this part 2 video I will be showing you how to get started with Panels, Layout Editor, Interlocking, Routes, Roster and Throttle. But most importantly, how you can start playing with your trains using your computer and have a lot of fun!

The objective of the series is of course to show how easy it is to start controlling your layout with JMRI, and also provide a complete guide to get started with the tool. Though I am using Digitrax LocoNet, the topics covered in this particular episode really is universal and is applicable for any DCC system that you might use. In addition, these videos also cover the basics required to advance to more complex topics like automation, block detection and signalling.
