AJP PR7 Fuel Injector Filter Removal

Описание к видео AJP PR7 Fuel Injector Filter Removal

In this video I show you how to pull the injector from the AJP PR7 throttle body and remove the tiny filter.

Only do this procedure if you have strong suspicion that the fuel injector filter is plugged. The injector can get plugged as a result of:
- the use of bad quality gasoline
- the bike having stood for a long time and the gasoline becoming stale and residue has build up
- fine sand that managed to get in your fuel system

Poor running can be attributed to other factors than the injector filter, such as low octane fuel, a plugged air filter, problems with the electrics, etc.

In the video you may see me applying some loctite to the nut holding the injector in place. This is not needed since the nut has a flange.

To prevent the injector filter from becoming plugged I have purchased a new inline filter and sock to put around the fuel pump from specialist company Guglatech. This will be installed next.

Update 1/6/2019:

The French AJP PR7 riders community has gone thru the effort to find injector parts and try them out. They have found and tested the following parts:

Replacement injector filters: search for "micro basket filter VD-FL-1013" on AliExpress.

Replacement injector: search for "Delphi 25377439" on AliExpress.
