The Trump administration says it will kill the Iran nuclear deal... unless Congress acts to permanently guarantee Tehran will never be able to build nuclear weapons.
In a speech at the White House Friday,... President Trump said the U.S. disavows the deal,... as Iran has failed many times to comply with it.
He also accused Iran of helping North Korea with its weapons programs.
In response, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Trump's accusations were "abusive and downright wrong."
The leaders of Britain, France and Germany also issued a joint statement,... urging Washington to adhere to the agreement.
Former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who personally negotiated the deal,... accused President Trump of creating an international crisis.
The agreement reached by the Obama administration in 2015.
