Touhou 15: Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom - Stage 5

With Stage 5 you’re going to be dealing with a lot of memorization. Similar to what you dealt with in the last stage enemies come at you in distinct squads in all cases with no overlap forcing you to have to know what’s coming ahead of time throughout the whole stage. There may not be a mid-boss but the gauntlet of fairies in the second half of the stage makes up for it.

The best advice I can give you for dealing with Clownpiece is to just accept you’re going to die going in…
I’m not even joking. With the nature of her hard and fast attacks, extreme precision, and spells that require you to be in just the right place at the right time your best bet is to always be expecting anything she throws at you to kill you dead. Prepare your bombs, but don’t expect to rely on them (she packs two time out spells for just such an occasion), rather know that you’ll probably need to use them to get out of numerous tight spots.
