Here is a quick and delicious mutton curry mangalorean style recipe for your weekend meal. It is a mildly spicy and tangy dish, best relished with plain steamed rice or boiled rice, rice rotti, or neer dosa. It also tastes good with chapatti or naan. INGREDIENTS:

Cook mutton in pressure cooker -

Mutton - 1 kg
Onion - 2 (small)
Tomato - 1 (big)
Green Chilly - 3
Coriander leaves
Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
Rock Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup

NOTE: MAKE 8 - 9 WHISTLES, some mutton needs only 1 to 2 whistles, some need only 4 to 5 whistles, and some needs 8 - 10 whistles, COOK MUTTON ACCORDING TO TYPE OF MUTTON YOU HAVE.


masala and gravy preparations -


Coconut oil - 1 tsp + 1 tbsp
Cinnamon - 2 inch
Green Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 6 - 7
Kashmiri red chilly - 8 - 10
Coriander seeds - 1 1/2 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 5 - 6 seeds
Black pepper - 1/4th tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 (medium)
Coconut - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
Tamarind - small piece
Water - 1 cup + as needed
Salt as needed
Coriander leaves
