Xtool AD20 Pro Review. Testing on a 2012 Toyota Tundra and 2010, 2011 Toyota Prius.

This is a review of the XTOOL AD20 Pro and the XADVANCER App. This OBD Dongle and App is like a OBD-Swiss Army knife for the car owner. I have used it on a Toyota Tundra and 2 different Toyota Prius. It will read and clear codes and read live data. On my Toyota it will read OEM codes as well as Generic OBD. It will perform simple tests on the Tundra and may reset maintenance data. I haven’t needed to reset the oil change indicator so I did not test that. If you leave it on a car it will record trip data. The dashboards are fun and may be useful. I am running it on Android. It does recognize the car by VIN number. On the Tundra I needed to erase some of the series data in the setup screen before it would connect. I purchased it from Amazon they had a pretty good discount when I bought it. I hope this review is useful if you are considering buying an OBD Interface for your phone or tablet. I did need to create username and password to download the Toyota data.
