Detective Verna’s testimony continues with surveillance video from the neighborhood camera showing the suspects running up to the house and leaving in #FabioSementilli’s Porsche 911. The state also presents the other movement in and out of the neighborhood by people who were at the home, including the house cleaner, the daughters, and #MonicaSementilli herself. The Porsche was abandoned in a residential neighborhood and reported a couple of mornings after the crime. Later in the video, the state plays a recording of a phone call on February 20th, 2017 between Detective Parshall and Monica.

Summary of the Case: Monica Sementilli is charged with conspiring to murder her husband of almost 20 years, Fabio Sementilli, a famed Hollywood hairdresser. Monica had been living a double life, carrying on a steamy affair with a man named Robert Baker when the 2017 stabbing death occurred while Fabio was relaxing on his back deck. Baker himself, along with another man, Chris Austin, were responsible for carrying out the brutal attack. Baker pled no contest to the charges of 1st degree murder & conspiracy in 2023 and is serving life. Austin was arrested late last year and plead guilty just earlier this month – He will be testifying in exchange for a 16-year-to-life prison sentence.
