Another One Off The Bucket List | Exploring Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest.

We had the most incredible adventure up Kehlstein Mountain to The Eagle's Nest! 🏔️✨ This place has been on my bucket list for ages, and I finally got to experience its rich history firsthand. 🙌

With our free bus passes from the campsite, we eagerly hopped on the bus to Berchtesgaden. The anticipation was building as we made our way up the mountain, knowing we were about to witness something truly special. 😍

The Eagle's Nest was actually built by the Nazi party for Adolf Hitler's 50th birthday, and it's mind-blowing to think about the grand entertaining that took place here. 🎉 Standing at approximately 1834m, the views from up here are absolutely breathtaking! 🌄

After taking in the stunning mountain vistas, we made our way back to the Eagle's Nest, or as it's known today, the Kehlsteinhaus. We treated ourselves to some well-deserved refreshments before delving into the rooms inside this remarkable historical site. 🍻🏰

Walking through those halls, you could almost feel the echoes of the past and the weight of history. It's truly humbling to be in a place that holds so much significance. 🙏

I can't recommend visiting The Eagle's Nest enough! It's a must-see for anyone who loves history and wants to be awed by the beauty of Bavaria. 🌟✨ Don't miss out on this incredible experience!
