Using the quick release on the Yamaha 300 HP outboards is much easier than screwing the hose onto the flush connection. This helps the most on the starboard engine when you lean over to reach the fresh water fill.

The manatee in this video scared the hell out of me while we were cleaning the boat. Walked back to unload the boat and jumped seeing this big ole thing sucking on the water flush.
