Here's a clip of CSXT 2704 pushing an autorack train into Taft Yard. It's real shaky because I was carrying the tripod with the camera on it. Botched pacing, LOL. Also really windy, because this was filmed right before a BIIIG storm came through.

NOTICE: The locomotive depicted in this video is a GP38-2, as most of you can tell. Apparently some folks can't take a hint that the below description is in jest, so I feel I must make this disclaimer to avoid future confusion. Thank you for your time.

NOTE: The side of this locomotive says that it is a GP38-2. How is this possible? The GP38 series is a nonturbocharged locomotive, and this loco here is clearly turbocharged. Is CSX in error here, or is it just another one of their quirky naming schemes, similar to the Dash8/Dash9 scenario?

EDIT: Is it possible that I'm mistaking the small box behind the cab for a turbocharger stack, and this locomotive has really short nonturbo stacks?

EDIT AGAIN: Okay, for whatever reason, I've decided to come up with my OWN explanation for this locomotive. Regardless of whether or not it's accurate. XD

CSXT 2704 was born at EMD's plant in LaGrange as a GP38-2. CSX Later added a turbocharger to her 16-cylinder 645 engine and chopped her two stacks. They did NOT, however, re-classify her, still calling her a GP38-2. Result: One of two things - either a 16-cylinder GP39-2, or a turbocharged GP38-2. Offspring of a GP38-2 and a GP40-2. LOL.
