Or 'Trying Not to Set Fire to Yourself or Your Fibreglass Car' might have been a better title...

As part of the ongoing project to install a Trophy airbox onto my road going Renault Spider, I hit a problem when I needed to move an aluminium bracket, and couldn't find anyone in the Swedish countryside to weld it back up for me.

Rather than attempt to learn how to weld aluminium on a rare 90s French sports car, I thought I'd have a go at the next best thing...brazing! Mainly I did this for 2 reasons (apart from needing a solution to my problem). Firstly, I've never brazed anything other than celery before and fancied a challenge. Secondly, I watched a lot of demo videos on Youtube and none of them actually gave a real world example.

So this video is my attempt to solve my problem and also give that much needed real world example.
