See below for the combination of pickups, tone controls and styles.
The bass was recorded directly into the OBS software using a PreSonus Studio 68c card without any effects, equalization, compression, normalization or post-processing. This is the cleanest sound I could get directly from the instrument.

Technical details and comments:
Very good craftsmanship. The body is made of ash with a flamed maple top. The whole bass has a satin finish which makes it very comfortable to play. The neck is made of flat-sawn flamed maple with graphite reinforcement bars and features 22 frets on a flamed maple fingerboard with a variable 10-13" radius. The scale is 35". The nut width is approx. 46 mm. The string spacing is 19mm at the bridge. There are Hipshot Ultralites tuners; there is the Lakland Duall Access chromed brass bridge. The serial number is 210911293. It was made in Indonesia and finished in Chicago in 2021.
The pickup configuration is Lakland MM-J. Inside is the Lakland LH-3 preamp with switchable mids (factory setting for mids is 600 Hz). There are Bass, Mid, Treble, Cut and Boost controls. There is a panning style pickup blend control and a master volume pot (pull for tone control bypass). There is a 3-way bridge pickup coil tap toggle (engage front coil, both coils, rear coil). All combinations of all pickup coils are hum-cancelling.
The factory strings were replaced with Elixir 045/130 gauge roundwounds. I found no significant dead spots on the neck. It plays evenly in all positions. The sound is well defined and articulated with a great B string.
