Ashland Railway steel coil train arrives at CSX Willard Ohio yard and CSX train meets ASRY 2027

ASRY 2027 arrives in Willard Ohio on the Ashland Railway ex B&O which was laid in 1846 as a route from Newark to Sandusky. The Ashland now owns the line from Mansfield to Willard and comes to interchange with CSX twice a week. North of Willard the line is abandoned as well as south of Mansfield. More track remains from Mt Vernon to Newark and I will drop a link to a video of the Ohio Central Railroad running on that line at the end of the video.

The Ashland is hauling in a load of steel coils from the AK Steel mill in Mansfield. They come off the "city track" into the Willard yard, and have to shove east of town to cross over to the north ides of the yard. They took most of the day to get back out of the yard. Thankfully CSX send a bunch of good trains my way. This will be the 1st of 3 videos shot that day, later the W&LE came in and the Ashland departs...
