In this video, I’m showcasing the BST LM-200 phaser from the seventies, paired with the Behringer Deepmind 6 synth emulating Korg PolySix and Roland Juno-106 sounds. The reverb is from the AMT TH-1 Tube Hall pedal, and the audio is recorded on a Yamaha MT-50 4-track cassette recorder with light EQ adjustments on a TDK SA 90 cassette.

🌌 About the phaser unit:
BST LM-200, made in Japan in the seventies. A bypass circuit can be activated manually or with a footswitch (located behind the unit). It's studio-grade, it won't get into overdrive territory like its MXR, Maxon or ‪@EHX‬ cousins. It's possible to overdrive the input, though. I've read that the effect is known to be too subtle and that the bypass is not satisfactory. I do not agree, my unit is in mint condition and I never encountred what's often being depicted. Proper care and gentle use always reward. ‪@jhspedals‬ would love it I am sure.

The BST LM-200 can be found Under different labels, such as Univox PHZ-1 Phazer, Monacor PZ-100 Phase Shifter or Melos PS-1000 Phase Shifter.

🎹 About the synth:
I'm using a ‪@behringer‬ Deepmind 6 here, emulating two synthesizers: a ‪@KorgOfficial‬ PolySix and a ‪@rolandglobal‬ Juno-106.
The patches used (respectively A1 and A48) have been designed by hero YouTuber ‪@JorbLovesGear‬ that I heartwarmingly thank here. Not using any internal effects, the presets are as dry as the desert and crazily loyal to their vintage counterparts.

⛰️ About the reverb:
It's the HALL 1 preset from the beloved AMT TH-1 Tube Hall pedal, a forgotten gem that was made in Russia in the (early?) 2000s. The tube in use seems to be its factory 6N2P-EV and I have no plan to change it. I might consider buying an adapter to test my European and USA NOS vintage tubes for some fun and easy tube rolling. The pedal does reverb and delay.
