So, instead, you can enable dark mode on Facebook lite app. So, instead of using Facebook app, just use Facebook lite app as the features it offers are the same so there are no downsides using it.

Follow these steps to enable dark mode on Facebook app:

1. Go to the Google Play or App Store, search for Facebook Lite app and download it;
2. I have already downloaded it to my phone. Now, open up Facebook Lite app and login to your profile if you haven’t already;
3. Click on the menu icon at the top right corner of your screen;
4. Scroll down and find a tab named “Dark mode”. Switch the toggle to turn in on. Done! You have successfully enabled dark mode on Facebook!
