NPC Advantages: No requirements. intimidators (staraptor, tauros, arcanine) hurt at the start but help in the long run. paralyzers (dudunsparce, bellibolt, umbreon), gardevoir (life dew), drifblim (will-o-wisp), and sylveon (charm, moonblast) help.

Strategy: worry seed. 3x tera blast, terastalize. after your stats reset 3x swords dance, heal cheer, sunny day, tera blast to victory.

Notes: synthesis can be replace sunny day for more reliable healing, but that healing would only be needed if you got hit with several (at least 4) critical hits. this build can be converted to the sky forme and ran unchanged. shaymin can be ran as a special build with growth instead of swords dance (though then if you swap sunny day for synthesis you need 3 more turns to buff).

Pros: supereffective tera type, great HP stat, excellent attack stat, decent defense and special defense stats, outspeeds serperior, resists leaf storm, resists iron tail after terastalizing, swords dance buffs 2 attack stages. worry seed removes contrary from serperior, which causes its use of leaf storm to debuff rather than buff its special attack 2 stages. sunny day raises sun for 5 turns, which gives 1.5x boost to tera blast when terastalized. tera blast has 80 base power, 100 accuracy, and deals supereffective STAB damage when terastalized. clear amulet prevents stats from being lowered. this stops sweet scent from lowering evasiveness, which maintains iron tail's accuracy at 75%. it also stops iron tail from lowering defense 1 stage (which happens 20% of the times that it lands). it also stops breaking swipe from lower 1 attack stage.
