Our short animated video shows how your nose could save your knee. Providing you have no osteoarthritis, we can take a biopsy of cartilage from your nose, grow it in our laboratory and implant the newly engineered tissue into your knee. Afterward, you may be able to walk, run and even play football again. If you live near Basel, Milan, Freiburg, Zagreb and since 2019 in Würzburg our clinical trial, NosetoKnee 2, part of the BIO-CHIP project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 programme may interest you.
