Introducing the Next Generation of Case IH Combines: The AF9

Описание к видео Introducing the Next Generation of Case IH Combines: The AF9

In this episode, Case IH introduces the next generation of combines, the AF-Series, and we give you a first look at the new AF9 Combine.

The new AF Series is Case IH's most powerful combine series. With the industry's largest grain tank and a fuel-efficient engine, you cover more acres in less time with the power and efficiency to handle any crop conditions. Designed, engineered, and built by farmers, the AF Series combines are packed with the latest in automation, connectivity, and harvesting technology, backed by decades of Axial-Flow reliability.

The AF series offers the largest grain tank capacity and the highest unload rate in the industry, enabling more to be done in a day. Improve overall operational efficiency by harvesting longer and further in a field pass and then unloading the 567-bushel grain tank in 100 seconds* at 6.0 bushel/second unloading rates.

AF9
455- or 567-bushel (optional) grain tank
4.5 bushel-per-second unload rate

*The unloading rate is affected by crop type, density, and moisture. Results may vary.

The proven Axial-Flow combine technology gets an upgrade. What hasn’t changed is the rotor technology that has set the standard for fast, efficient harvesting with unprecedented grain quality.

The most advanced harvesting automation system available, Harvest Command comes standard on all AF series combines. Each automation mode prioritizes different harvesting outcomes — from grain quality to grain savings to throughput. You choose the mode of automation to match your harvesting goals. Set the crop type, maximum operating speed, and power limits and Harvest Command handles the rest. Choose from four modes of automation to fit your operation:

Performance: Maximize grain savings and grain quality while optimizing throughput.
Grain quality: Maximize grain quality while saving grain and optimizing throughput.
Max throughput: The operator can maximize throughput while automation adjusts combine settings to save grain.
Fixed throughput: The operator can fix the machine throughput and the machine will adjust to save grain and maintain a quality sample.

New Corn Head Design
1. Capacity:
With the largest infeed auger in the industry and improved row unit design, overall capacity has been increased.

2. Weight
Engineering advancements have reduced weight by more than 100 pounds per row without sacrificing durability.
Overall header weight is the same or less than previous models..
Improves weight distribution of the header and combine with reduced weight at the front of the combine.

3. Durability
Driveline maintenance requirements have been reduced.
Gearboxes replace chain drives, improving durability and performance and reducing maintenance intervals.
Row unit and chopper drivelines are independent, providing individual overload protection for both the chopper and row unit drives.

4. Productivity
Header mounted sensors provide in-cab slip detection, immediately notifying the operator.
Powered end-divider augers ensure optimum productivity in even the most challenging conditions.
Tall-corn attachments are available.
Spring-free self-adjusting hydraulic deck plates. Two methods of adjustment allow for easy fine-tuning as field conditions change: in-cab operator adjustment to meet overall crop conditions, and automatic micro adjustments for changing field conditions.
