During our tour of Paradise Valley, we learned so much about indigenous Amazigh plant medicine and the many herbs that exist in these mountains that have amazing health benefits. Mr. Abdullah, our tour guide, gave us an overview of the herbs and how to prepare them for use. He made sure that we understood that these were traditions and knowledge passed down to him from his ancestors. We were amazed at the unique and special way that the Amazigh coexist with nature.
