Cleveland weather: Gorgeous day tomorrow but rain in the forecast for Sunday

Cleveland weather forecast for Friday, October 4, 2024.

We turn cooler tonight for those Friday night football plans as we drop back into the 50s and upper 40s overnight.

Expect sunny skies to resume behind the cold front on Saturday with cooler highs near 70. Game one of the ALDS between the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field looks just perfect. Sunshine and temps nearing 70 with light wind. Go Guards!

Sunday we'll be tracking our next front in here with sunshine giving way to a brief window of rain and storms. They look to develop right over us versus something we're tracking in. Once this brief window moves out, we'll likely return to clear skies before the day ends with highs in the 70s.

Much cooler air moves in behind Sunday's front and we'll hold in the low 60s for much of next week as it looks truly fall-like. Expect sunshine to mix with lake effect clouds from time to time with any lake effect showers remaining to our east.
