Flying Person - Music Session | Lampa Sessions

Watch Lampa Sessions live in concert, Episode 2 starring Georgi Bozhinov - Flying Person. For this Lampa Sessions experience, he curated a special set inspired by two transformative journeys across Africa. Weaving his music with immersive "field recordings" captured on location - the pulse of the jungle, the whisper of the wind in the mountains - he transports you to the heart of his exploration.

The first half unfolds like a captivating “travelogue”, drawing us into the depths of the African wilderness. The second half explodes with the vibrant rhythm and energy of his second trip, leaving you breathless and exhilarated.
Lampa Sessions is produced by Lampa Collective with the financial support of National Culture Fund, program Creation and will showcase new artists every month between March and July 2024.

Lampa Sessions is an original Lampa Collective concept project that will present the creativity and inspiration of 5 experimental Bulgarian musical artists through video interviews and music sessions specially prepared for the series! We will follow the series on Lampa Collective's YouTube channel:    / @lampacollective  , and short videos could also be found on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

We will see and hear interesting names from the current music scene, who boldly experiment with electronic sound and traditional instruments, synthesizers and loop machines, from calm ambient sound to "cheeky" breakbeat.

Each session under the light of the "Lamp" promises to bring a spotlight on artists with unconventional approaches to music. The planned interviews with the musicians will complement and give more context to their performances in the Lampa sessions.
