Hellenic Air Force F-4 Phantom mock airfield attack [4K]

During our trip to Andravida Air Base as part of Phancon '22 we were treated to a mock airfield attack by several F-4 Phantoms from the 117th Combat Wing, 338 Fighter Bomber Squadron, of the Hellenic Air Force.

The jets departed from both runway 16 and 34 due to there being almost no wind that morning. They entered from the north and performed mock staffing and weapons releases on our location. Very neat!

Andravida Air Base is located on the some 130 miles to the West of Athens on the Peloponnese peninsula.

Phancon '22 was organised by the F-4 Society and we joined a small group of F-4 enthusiasts with Rich Cooper and the Centre Of Aviation Photography (COAP). It was a very special trip with some excellent people and these very special aircraft.
