ICP Chain Fusion Educate: Introduction to Chain Fusion and ICP

On Tuesday, 28th May 2024, we were delighted to host "Introduction to Chain Fusion and ICP", the first event in the ICP Chain Fusion Educate Series Powered by Encode Club! The event was held by Encode Club's own Head of Research and Operations, Eomji Park!

The event provides a gentle, mostly non-technical introduction to the Internet Computer and the new Chain Fusion technology it offers. The speaker covers basic ICP terminology, its overall architecture and cryptographic features, before turning to Chain Fusion itself. Topics such as Chain-key signatures and ck tokens are introduced, as are the different use cases such technology opens up. Interoperability, enhanced smart contracts/canisters, better UX and increased security are among the most salient benefits of Chain Fusion, the workshop argues.

ICP Chain Fusion Educate is a 4-week programme consisting of seven workshops covering Internet Computer's new Chain Fusion technology. This programme is free and open for everyone, no matter their professional or educational background and level of coding knowledge.
