The Veil is a lyrical, epic six-part espionage thriller that doesn't try to hide its larger goals. The FX series explores the extent women would go to in order to preserve control over their destiny and the disguises they wear in order to do it. It is not your typical spy tale. The subject is hardly concealed since, in the end, this novel puts women in a role that is often performed by males, enabling that fact to influence the plot.
