Описание к видео Let's Play - Norland - Full Gameplay - Starting with Prisoners and a Child - Release Day

Let's Play Norland. Norland Gameplay. Tutorials. Walkthrough.

In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Norland (Launch Day). Norland is a story generating medieval kingdom simulator. In this playthrough, I decided to choose the Husband, Wife, Child for the starting family composition with the Prisoner Owners scenario. So you start with Prisoners instead of Peasants for starting labor. I picked the corner province for my starting location. Scroll Down for my game description writeup and feel free to use the Chapter Jumps.

Norland has a Rimworld like vibe to it with the art style and story generating interactions between the characters in the world. Unlike Rimworld, all buildings are predesigned and requires knowledge to build them. The game has a 4x grand strategy like layer to it as well. There is a global crisis such as the Unholy Horde marching across the Norland to wipe out every providence in its path. You start with a province and setup an economy. You control the Nobles (Lords) in your land to build up kingdom. The villagers receive their orders from your Lords, so you do not control them directly. You can set up wages for your workers and warriors so they can buy food and beer from you (which you also set the price for). This keeps the economy flowing within your eco system. So it's important to make sure everybody is employed. If villagers run out of resources and can't get food from you they'll turn to Vagabonds and commit crimes. New money flows into your kingdom from Migrants and the Holy Caravan (trader), so you can sell resources and products you produce. If you can maintain happiness, your people can become Loyalist for you. There is also religion in the game. (The Church of Sophia) Unhappy people may turn to religion and become Fanatics. There's also combat in the game. You'll need an army to defend your town and stop bandits, or use them to take over other province and eventually take out the Unholy Horde. Norland has a lot of interesting game mechanics and game lore. Some mechanics from Crusader Kings will be familiar to some players. I highly recommend adding this game to your Wishlist.
