Furnace Run Metro Park is a nice parkland tucked in the northern part of Summit County. It is named for a series of old smelting furnaces that were once along the Cuyahoga River in this area. There are a few different trails and two different sections of the park that can be explored. This video examines the unofficial Brushwood Trail, a path that walks along furnace run and then around Brushwood Pond.
