Now that our roadmap out of lockdown has been revealed, the pathway to reopening theatres is back on the agenda. After twelve months of closed doors, we’re hoping that 2021 really will be the year of rebuilding our West End and beyond, so we’ve been talking to London’s theatre stars about the recovery ahead, and why it matters so much.

This week, our How theatre will rebuild series will bring you a new conversation each day from people who have brought us some of the most exciting and influential shows of the last few years. We’re asking them what the past year has been like for them, and how they are feeling about what lies ahead.

Today we’re talking to Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the unstoppable creators of Six the Musical. First written when they were at university and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, the show - which tells the story of Henry VIII’s six wives in pop concert format - has since become a phenomenal global success, selling out in the West End and transferring to Broadway.
