Bucky, now re-named Leo for his lion-like puppy growl, was bitten by a rattlesnake near Austin, Texas. After taking him to the vet and learning of the cost for anti-venom, his owners opted to euthanize him. Fortunately, the Heart of Texas Lab Rescue took him in and I am the lucky one who gets to foster Leo (previously Bucky) back to health! It will be a long road, but this little guy is worth it. He underwent two sessions in the hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, IV medication, fluids and pain meds during his stay with the amazing Heart Of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center. It will be a long recovery for this pup, and we hope you will subscribe and follow his journey to finding his forever home! Thank you for supporting my purpose to mainstream fostering!
