Overnight in the World’s most incredible Mountain Cabin: Bivacco Gervasutti

Описание к видео Overnight in the World’s most incredible Mountain Cabin: Bivacco Gervasutti

Bivacco Gervasutti is an extraordinary shelter located at an altitude of 2,835 meters on the Fréboudze Glacier in the Mont Blanc massif in the Aosta Valley, Italy.
Some describe it as a luxurious mountain shelter, while others see it as a futuristic capsule. The bivouac was named in honor of the Italian mountaineer Giusto Gervasutti.
It was designed by Italian architects from the LEAP Factory, and it’s not the only capsule of its kind—similar ones can be found en route to Mount Elbrus. This modular structure means its components were transported by helicopter and assembled on-site. The shelter weighs about 2 tons, covers an area of 30 square meters, and is powered by solar energy.
Inside, there are 12 sleeping spaces, a kitchen with a stunning view of the Mont Blanc massif and nearby glaciers, lighting, and even internet access.
The bivouac is an ideal base for exploring the famous Grandes Jorasses, Petites Jorasses, Aiguille de Leschaux, and Mont Greuvetta.

In this video, we will show you what the road to the Bivacco Gervasutti looks like, its unique construction, and also the interior.
Enjoy!

Location: Bivacco Gervasutti, Fréboudze Glacier, Mont Blanc Massif (Monte Bianco), Aosta Valley, Italy.

Hope you enjoy it!
