At the core of their operations, Asa Nwura seek to address the challenge with waste pollution and its associated climate destabilization as well as create economic inclusion for low- and middle-income households, especially women. Ghana generates approximately 840000 tonnes of plastic waste per year and Asa Nwura contributes to waste management by rechanneling plastic waste as raw materials for recyclers. Through their intervention, emissions from landfilled plastics are reduced.
