L'album è stato registrato presso i Surrey Sound Studios di Londra, inizialmente ottenne una fredda accoglienza di pubblico ma dopo un tour negli Stati Uniti la band cominciò a riscuotere successo, specialmente per Roxanne. La A&M Records ne approfittò per ripubblicare il singolo, che riuscì stavolta a scalare le classifiche di tutto il mondo. Il successo di Roxanne aiutò il disco a raggiungere il sesto posto della classifica britannica nell'aprile 1979.

The album was recorded at the Surrey Sound Studios in London, initially it got a cold reception of the public but after a tour in the United States the band began to be successful, especially for Roxanne. A & M Records took the opportunity to republish the single, who managed to climb the charts all over the world this time. Roxanne's success helped the disk reach sixth place on the British charts in April 1979.
