Matt Gates is learning very quickly. That loyalty doesn't get you very far in Trump world. Oh, sure. It could mean that the president is your friend. He allows you to be near him, but when it's you, that is in need that loyalty you'll find out very quickly was a one-way street. Donald Trump and his allies. According to new reporting from Politico have completely abandoned, poor little embattled representative. Matt Gates. After his scandal broke just one week ago, they want nothing to do with them. They're not coming out and defending them. They're not issuing statements. Hey, we've known Matt Gates for five years. He's a good upstanding citizen. Nope, nothing. Furthermore, his good buddies over at Fox news appear to have abandoned him of well as well. They went the whole weekend without even mentioning his name. After that disastrous interview on Tucker Carlson last week, they haven't invited him back on.

And by the way, he was on Fox news, eight teen times in the month of March. So literally more than every other day, Matt Gates appeared on Fox news. And now he's been missing for over a week, eight days, no Matt Gates because Matt Gates has no friends. He has two people that have really been outspoken, uh, outspoken, excuse me, in defending him. And that's Marjorie Taylor green and Jim Jordan. Right? Two of the most hated people in Congress are like, no, he's a totally a good dude. He's fine. Uh, but Gates, no, he's got nobody left. There's no major players in the Republican party who are coming out to defend him. In fact, the Republican party actually said, if he gets charged with anything, we're going to be the ones to come out immediately and tell him to resign so that the Democrats can't jump on that and do it first.

So Republicans are already planning for that scenario. They literally have a plan. They have a plan for when air, if this guy gets charged and a lot of people involved in Florida politics, according to reporting are saying that he is definitely going to be charged in this particular investigation. The question is when right? We do know that this investigation has been going on since about last year, summer, but sometimes investigations take years, especially when you're dealing with potentially a potential trafficking issues. That is huge. That takes a long time. There is one thing though. There is one thing that could result in Matt Gates, basically being charged like that before we know it. And that is his good buddy. Joel Greenberg, the man who actually sparked this investigation to begin with Greenberg is facing, I think about 30 at this point, different charges, uh, he's already been indicted. He's already been charged and more charges kind of keep coming for him. So he's facing a lot of time in prison. Maybe he wants to reduce that sentence a little.

Maybe he's got some, some beans to spill or maybe he's just feeling bitter and angry about the fact that he can't save himself. So maybe he's one of those guys who thinks, well, if I'm going down, everybody's going down with me. And that may include Matt Gates considering he's been buddy buddy with Greenberg. In fact, according to reports, boasting to his friends over the years that Greenberg would give him access to girls. Yeah. The same Greenberg who's been charged with trafficking. Yeah. Not exactly something you should boast about. So yeah, Matt Gates has no friends, but at this point he better pray that he doesn't develop some enemies trying to get out of a lengthy prison sentence.
