PAINTING FIGURES STEP BY STEP | LIFECOLOR ACRYLICS

Описание к видео PAINTING FIGURES STEP BY STEP | LIFECOLOR ACRYLICS

Welcome back to this beginners guide to constructing and painting your first resin figure - we started off with the face in Part 1 (link below), now we continue with the uniform and terrain, again using Lifecolor's excellent acrylic paints.

This film shows me assembling and painting Nuts Planet's comic-like SD resin figure of a D.A.K. or Afrika Korps figurine and base (Ref: NP-001). These excellent miniatures are available from http://historexagents.com, who kindly supplied the sample.

In 2015 I used Lifecolor's excellent acrylics for the first time on a resin figure. This video shows that paint job. My technique has changed over the years, but you can see me apply them and add highlights to the uniform.

These paints give very subtle effects, especially when allowed to dry between the later coats.

You can get Lifecolor from http://www.airbrushes.com but do note that the packaging has been updated from the one in the video.

As always with Scale War Machines, this is a simple non-elitist step-by-step video guide to painting figures' faces aimed at everyday figure painting and my background is armour modelling.

We hope you enjoy this and that it inspires you to try your hand at a larger scale resin bust or figurine using acrylics.
