'God loves those who love their fellow men.'
'Service to man is service to God'.
These are adages we hear often but do not fully understand or remember. In fact, even Abou Ben Adhem, who had spent his life in the service of others and was confident that he had done what was right, needed to be enlightened and reassured that God had had his name placed on the top of the list of those that he himself loved and blessed.
There are many ways of expressing one's love for God. Serving others with love is undoubtedly the best way to do so.
