The Original Hail Mary Pass Was Invented by the Ritz Brothers

Описание к видео The Original Hail Mary Pass Was Invented by the Ritz Brothers

All of the great comedy teams of the 1930s-1950s tried their hand at outrageous exploits on the football field. The Three Stooges, the Marx Brothers, and even the Bowery Boys had some hijinks on the gridiron, but it is the lesser known Ritz Brothers that score the touchdown.
In their 1937 film Life Begins in College, Harry Ritz pulls off the first Hail Mary captured on film almost 40 years before Roger Staubach connected with Drew Pearson in Minnesota. And he didn't even need any help! No ownership of this material is claimed.
