In this second in the series of discussions on Error Surfaces, we dive deeper into the understanding the complexities of these surfaces. We see that subtle changes can have big, and somewhat unexpected, effects that can be hard to discern and predict.

Some of the issues are caused by the Curse of Dimensionality, where techniques that worked with in 2 or 3 dimension starts failing as the number of dimensions increases. We discuss this issue and some ways of thinking about the data that helps clear up the ambiguities.
