Serbia: The Friendliest Country in Europe

Описание к видео Serbia: The Friendliest Country in Europe

In this video, I share why I believe Serbia is the friendliest country in Europe. Based on my personal experiences, here’s what I cover:

👉 Serbs don’t look friendly at first glance, but they are genuinely the friendliest people when you get to know them.

👉 Dark sense of humor! Serbs have a unique, sharp, and sometimes dark humor shaped by their history—it's refreshing and unfiltered.

👉 Safety as a foreign woman. Living in Serbia, I feel safe, supported, and connected. It’s easy to approach people, ask for help, and build meaningful friendships, acquaintances, or business relationships.

👉 Other European capitals like Paris, Lisbon, and Berlin didn’t feel as warm or open to me, making Belgrade stand out even more.

👉 Austria: The most unfriendly country? While I haven’t visited Austria yet, it’s fascinating that many Serbs in Austria describe the unfriendliness of society, making it different from the Serbian warmth you find here.

👉 Why friendliness matters. As an expat or foreigner, being in a friendly country makes a huge difference—whether it’s government processes, social norms, or everyday interactions, it’s essential to feel welcomed and supported.
