The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is a majestic temple constructed in the holy city of Ayodhya, India. It is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, a revered Hindu deity and hero of the Ramayana epic. The temple is built in the Nagara style of architecture, which originated around the 5th century AD. This style has influenced temple architecture in several regions of India.
The main temple building is made of pink sandstone weighing 4.7 lakh cubic feet from the Bharatpur area of Rajasthan. The plinths are made of 17,000 granite stones sourced from Telangana, and the inlay work is made of colored and white marbles.
The first and second floors of the temple are scheduled to be completed by December 2024. The consecration ceremony is scheduled for January 22, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend. The temple is expected to open to tourists on January 24, 2024.

By air: Travel to Ayodhya by air is the fastest way to reach the temple town. Ayodhya's Maharishi Valmiki International Airport is well-connected to major airports through direct flights from several cities. People can also reach from Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi Airports.
By train: The two major railway stations are Faizabad and Ayodhya.
By road: People travel to Ayodhya through Kamta to Chinhat Matiyari via Barabanki. Local transport options, including auto-rickshaws and cycle rickshaws, are readily available.

• Saryu River
The Saryu River, also known as the Sarayu, is a major river in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It originates from Lake Mansarovar in the Himalayas and merges with the Ganga in Bihar's Saran district. The Saryu is also known as the Ghaghra and the Manas Nandini.
The Saryu River is significant in the narrative of Ayodhya, as it has witnessed the life of Lord Rama from his exile to his return to Ayodhya. Ayodhya is an ancient city of India, is the birthplace of Bhagwan Shri Ram and setting of the great epic Ramayana.
The Saryu River is regarded as a fresh perennial water body, but it is regularly polluted by discharge of different physical and chemical pollutants.

• Hanuman Gadi
Hanuman Garhi is a temple in Ayodhya, India.
It's believed that Lord Hanuman lived at Hanuman Garhi to protect Ayodhya.
The main temple has a beautiful idol of a young Hanuman sitting on his mother Anjani's lap.
The temple is located 1 km from Ayodhya railway station.

• Kanak Bhawan
Kanak Bhawan, located in Ayodhya, is one of the most famous temples in India. It is believed that the building was gifted to Devi Sita by her mother, Queen Kaikeyi, right after her marriage to Lord Rama. The temple is considered to be the private palace of Lord Rama and Devi Sita.
Some say that the temple is an excellent example of temple design and architecture.
The temple has a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot.
Some visitors say that the temple is very charming, while others say that it is full of emotions.

• Dashrath Mahal
Located in the heart of the city, in Ramkot Ayodhya, in Faizabad; Dashrath Bhavan is the original residence of King Dashrath- the ruler of Ayodhya and father to Lord Sri Ram. Popularly known as Bada Asthan or Badi Jagah, Dashrath Mahal houses magnificent shrines of King Ram.

Believed to have housed Lord Rama's childhood and King Dasharath's capital, this pretty palace hosts a decorated and ornamented entrance with beautiful paintings. Within the palace, there are saffron-clad monks chanting mantras, singing and dancing.

Although relatively smaller than the superlative of a palace, the Dashrath Bhavan is a definite magnet during festivities such as Ram Vivah, Karthik Mela, Diwali, Ram Navami and Shravan
