Modes are often taught in a confusing way for beginners to understand. In this video I explain a method for learning and exploring modes that I believe help beginners understand the different sounds to different modes more effectively. This is a simple way to compose using different modes.

I used this method in a recent jam video using the Phrygian Mode. This is Part 1 in a two video series. The first video focuses on the Music Theory behind the composition and the second video discusses the technical patch using the Moog Sound Studio.
