This tune from the Beatles' 1966 album "Revolver" shows up on a lot of lists of favorites. Paul McCartney, who wrote it (despite the typical Beatles half-credit going to John Lennon) puts it on his, as does Lennon. The critics kind of dismissed it as a sappy, mushy love song suitable, one said, for set lists at senior proms. Which is probably why it's such a favorite.
This one was a rquest from our quintet's tuba player (it's her favorite Beatles tune). That's why the tuba gets a small cameo starring role at the end.
