My First SIV - Oludeniz - Paragliding - Full

Here is the full video of my first ever SIV in Oludeniz, Turkey - May 2024.
What an amazing place this is, but also very intimidating to launch from as its such a rocky and harsh environment on the mountain.
I got lucky weather and managed to get an orientation flight, followed by 7 SIV flights and as such managed to fully complete the course. Unfortunately the last two days were too windy for flying and as such the Mountain was closed, so no flight to Butterfly Valley. However I did go for a nice hike instead and enjoyed the beach :D
I would highly recommend attending an SIV Course if you are serious about being a safer Paragliding Pilot, the skills you learn may well save your life one day.
The SIV Course I did was ran by Revolution Paragliding (Tim/Jenni/Graham) from Fly Sussex Paragliding School. They are all extremely experienced and I can highly recommend them if your looking to complete an SIV.
