The Ancient City of Blaundos was established near the border of Phrygia and Lydia by Macedonians, which makes it stand out among the other ancient cities that are scattered throughout Anatolia. Enter the city through the well-preserved city walls, and explore the structures that remain today, such as the aqueducts, the colonnaded street, and temples. The most striking and well-known structure, however, is the ruins of the state building. Due to the distinct shape of the ruins, it’s known as the Stonehenge of Anatolia. A must-see in the region!
