Colors Alterats

Inspired by spending time in a familiar but different place and a new guitar.

I got a chance to return to Spain after almost 20 years away. I got to pick up a similar guitar to my previous Spanish guitar that was destroyed in a fire. I got to see the Mediterranean again, and actually swim in it this time. I got to wear previously prohibited sunglasses that protected my eyes, but altered the colors.

I wrote most of this song while waiting for a flight home in the Valencia airport, trying to capture some of my feelings towards the experience that my spoken language can't express. The song name is in valencià, and means "Altered Colors".
